Hi, I’m Dora, the fully qualified nail technician behind - Simply A’Dorable by Dora - a friendly, home-based nail salon in Barrow-in-Furness. I am a passionate beginner nail technician, continuing to grow my skills and build my portfolio while providing a careful, personalised service. I focus on nail health, precise application and helping every client feel comfortable and looked after. All services are tailored to you, taking into account your natural nails, lifestyle, job, hobbies and desired look. As I take extra care with preparation, detail and nail health, appointments may take a little longer than you may be used to. I work from a clean, private and welcoming home environment, using high-quality HEMA- and TPO-free products and following careful cleaning and sanitising practices. Please note that the salon is accessed via stairs, so unfortunately it may not be suitable for wheelchair users or anyone with mobility difficulties.

A little colour, a little self-care! Ideal for those with healthy natural nails who simply want a gel colour application, without added strength or extensions. Includes nail shaping, a cuticle tidy and your choice of gel colour for a glossy finish that can last up to two weeks with proper aftercare. Designs, nail art and extras can be added separately to your booking.

This service extends your nails **up to medium length** adding strength and including cuticle work, a nail tidy and shaping, finished with one colour of your choice. Using forms, tips or full-cover tips, I’ll choose the extension method and gel best suited to your nail health and lifestyle. Your set can last 3–4 weeks with proper aftercare. Designs, nail art and extras can be added separately to your booking.

Removal services1

Details
This standalone service gently removes **gel products applied by me only**. I do not remove products applied by another salon. For extra care, I recommend pairing your removal with an **IBX treatment** to help strengthen and support your natural nails, especially if they’re weak or peeling. **Please add IBX separately to your booking.**

House rules

Please arrive at your booked time rather than early, as I may still be with another client. If you’re running late, please let me know. Your service may need to be adjusted or rescheduled to avoid delaying the next appointment.

Booking and cancellation policy

Please give at least **24 hours’ notice** if you need to cancel your appointment. - **Less than 24 hours’ notice:** 50% of the booked service price will be charged. - **No-shows:** 100% of the booked service price will be charged. - **Arriving 15 minutes or more late:** The full booked service price applies, and your treatment will be limited to what we can complete in the remaining time.
