A SevenRooms alternative for UK restaurants whose problem is the floor, not the marketing

SevenRooms sets out to bring guests in and bring them back. Slotora sets out to run the evening once they are through the door. Which you need depends on which of those is your problem this year.

People on the early-access list are told the opening day first.

Two different questions

SevenRooms calls itself a platform for restaurant sales and guest retention. Its own pages list the parts: bookings arriving from your website and from DoorDash, Deliveroo, Google, Instagram and Yelp; guest profiles; e-mail, SMS and automated marketing; review management; and a voice AI that takes phone bookings.

That is a full answer to “how do we get more guests, and get them back?”. Many independent restaurants have a different question. The tables are full on Friday and Saturday; what goes wrong is the party of six put on a four, the walk-in told forty minutes when a table frees in ten, the regular nobody on tonight recognised. Slotora is written for that second question and leaves the first alone.

Choose SevenRooms if

  • You trade in London and want diners to book you from inside the Deliveroo app.
  • Automated e-mail and SMS marketing to your guest list is part of your plan for the year.
  • You want phone bookings answered by a voice AI rather than by whoever is on the door.

What Slotora is good at instead

The party of six

Turn times can depend on the size of the party, so a six holds its table for as long as a six really stays. The booking lands on a table that seats six, in a room drawn to its real size.

The walk-in at 19:40

One tap seats them at the best free table. If none is free, they join the waiting list with an honest estimate; when a table frees up, their card says so and the host seats them with one more tap.

The Monday after

Covers, turns, the no-show rate and the bookings you could not take, with the reason each was turned away. Cancelled by the guest and cancelled by you are kept apart.

What you would not get

  • No bookings from Google, Instagram, Deliveroo or any other channel: only your own page, the phone and the door.
  • No marketing sent from Slotora and no review requests. Events are in — a tasting, a supper club or a private-dining enquiry — free or paid for when booking, through your own Stripe account once it is connected.
  • No voice AI. A person answers the phone, with the evening in front of them.

SevenRooms questions

Can I bring my SevenRooms bookings across?

Through a file, not a connection: pick SevenRooms on Slotora's import screen, and it shows SevenRooms' own export steps; you check how the file's columns are matched and see a preview before anything is saved. No marketing consent is carried across from a SevenRooms file.

Why can I not see SevenRooms' price here?

SevenRooms prices every tier on request, and this site prints nobody else's prices anyway. Its pricing page, linked above, is where you ask for a quote.

Is this page for restaurants in Ireland too?

No. None of the SevenRooms pages we read on 16 October 2026 mention Ireland, so this comparison is for the UK. Irish restaurants will find the systems we could show selling in Ireland in the buyer's guide.

Does Slotora have a guest database at all?

Yes, as a record rather than a marketing machine: every guest has a card with their visits, no-shows and late cancellations, plus the allergies, tags and favourite area your staff write on it, which the host sees at the stand and when the guest rings to book. The guest book filters and exports the list; the mailing export holds only guests who agreed to marketing, and what you send them is up to your own tools.
