Quandoo closing · checked 16 October 2026

Quandoo has closed. Your restaurant's guest list does not have to go with it.

Quandoo stopped taking new bookings on 30 September 2026 and switches off for good on 31 December 2026. Until then you can still export your reservations and your guests. After that, the data is gone from your reach.

What happened, and when

In late March 2026 Quandoo announced that it would close in every market it operated in, in what it called a planned and orderly process. These are the dates it published.

  1. Until 30 September 2026

Guests could still book through Quandoo and the restaurant tools kept working. Restaurant contracts ended automatically on this date; nobody had to cancel.

  2. From 1 October 2026

Quandoo's services for guests ended. The website and app became a static page: no new bookings, and restaurants can no longer handle bookings through it.

  3. Until 31 December 2026

The last day to export your reservation data and guest list, and to reach Quandoo with questions. Then the website, the app and the systems behind them are taken down.

  4. After that

Quandoo has said it keeps data only as long as the law requires, then deletes or anonymises it. It does not offer a migration to another system.

Before 31 December: export what is yours

The trade press reports that Quandoo's help section carries an export guide and that its support team is handling export requests until the end of the year. Do it now rather than in the last week of December, when everybody else will.

  1. Export the bookings still ahead of you

Anything booked for dates after today is a promise to a guest. Export it, then check each one: the guest may not know Quandoo has gone, and a phone call or an e-mail from you now saves a table and a bad evening later.

  2. Export your guest list

Names, contact details, visit counts, notes — whatever the export holds. It is the most valuable thing the system ever collected for you, and it is the part that cannot be rebuilt.

  3. Keep the file like the personal data it is

Save it where only your team can open it, keep what you need to serve those guests, and delete what you do not. Your guests booked with your restaurant; looking after their details is now on you.

  4. Write down what is missing

If an export does not include something you rely on — notes about a regular, a no-show history — note it while you still have access to look it up.

Meanwhile, the bookings that still come in

  • Look for dead Quandoo links: your website's booking button, your Instagram bio, your Google profile, your menu QR code. Each one now sends a hungry guest to a closed page.
  • Replace them with your phone number or an e-mail address for now — something that works tonight.
  • Keep one book for everything until you choose a new system, so the evening is never split across two places.

Moving to Slotora

This is the move:

  1. Draw your room

Your tables, at their real size and in their real places, on a floor plan that refuses a layout that would not work.

  2. Set your services and rules

Lunch and dinner, how long a table is held, how many covers the kitchen takes per quarter hour, the largest party you take online.

  3. Import your Quandoo export

Open the CSV or Excel file you exported in Slotora's import screen. It guesses from the header row which column is the date, the name, the phone number; you confirm or correct each match and look at a preview before anything is saved. Upcoming bookings arrive confirmed, waiting for you to put them on a table; past ones become each guest's visit history, so a regular is recognised from their first booking with you. Import the same file twice and nothing is doubled, and an import you regret can be undone. If you would rather do it together, we help.

  4. Share your own booking page

One link for your website, your Instagram bio and your Google profile — tag each copy with ?src=website or ?src=instagram and the reports count where bookings came from — and a printable QR card for the menus and the window. No commission on any booking it takes.

The founding price — £99 a month per location, guaranteed for 12 months — is for the first 100 restaurants that sign up and pay, and a restaurant moving from Quandoo can be one of them. In Ireland the price is €179 a month per location, in euro.

Questions restaurants are asking

Can I still take bookings through Quandoo?

No. New bookings stopped on 30 September 2026 and from 1 October restaurants can no longer handle bookings through Quandoo.

What is the last day to export my data?

31 December 2026, according to Quandoo's published timeline. Do it well before then.

Will Quandoo move my data to a new system for me?

No. Quandoo has said it offers no direct integration or migration service. You export the data and take it to whichever system you choose.

Does Slotora send me new guests the way a booking marketplace does?

No. Slotora is your own booking page and your own floor, not a marketplace, and it takes no commission. If being listed in a diners' app matters to you, weigh that when you choose.
