Gift cards and passes: the easiest £1,000 your salon isn't making

Prepaid products do two magic things: they bring cash forward, and they guarantee return visits. December gift cards pay January's rent.

Gift cards: the acquisition tool

Gift cards are bought by your existing clients FOR new people — they are word-of-mouth with money attached. Keep balances flexible: part-redemption should just work.

Passes: the retention tool

A 10-session pass at a small discount converts your occasional client into a committed regular. Automatic redemption matters: nobody wants to keep a paper punch card in 2026.

Coupons: the utilisation tool

Quiet Tuesday mornings? A 20%-off code shared on Instagram on Monday evening fills them. Cap the uses, set an expiry, and track redemptions per code.

All three — gift cards with balances, passes redeemed with their code, and coupon codes — are free in Slotora, with zero commission on the revenue they bring you. Gift cards and passes in Slotora
