Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Slotora account and all of your business data yourself, at any time, from inside the product. You do not need to contact us and we do not ask for a reason.

How to delete your account (2 minutes)

• Sign in at slotora.io (or in the Slotora mobile app).
• Open Settings — in the mobile app: More → Delete account.
• Scroll to the “Danger zone” section at the bottom of the page.
• Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm.
• Confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

What gets deleted

Deletion immediately and permanently removes: your business profile and booking page, all bookings, all client records (names, emails, phone numbers, notes, photos), services and prices, team members and working hours, gift cards, passes and coupons, forms and submitted answers, email templates, and every user login on the account (yours and your team's).

What we keep, and for how long

• A deletion record: your salon's name, the country, how many bookings it had, how long the account existed and the reason, if you gave one. Your sign-in email address is in it only as a shortened hash that cannot be turned back into the address. Our team also receives an email with your salon's name, the address of its booking page, the country, the number of bookings and clients and your reason. We do not currently delete either after a fixed period; they show us why salons leave, and prove that the deletion happened.
• Billing and transaction records, if you bought from us: for as long as tax law requires — six years from the end of the financial year of the transaction, under UK tax law. Your name and identifiers are taken out of them wherever tax does not need them; for a sale to an EU business without VAT (reverse charge), the business name and VAT number stay as the evidence. The figures stay.
• Platform tax reporting record, if your business had bookings or payments through Slotora: what the tax rules for digital platforms (UK Digital Platform Reporting and EU DAC7) require us to report about your business as the seller — its name, address and country and, for each quarter, the amounts paid for services booked through Slotora and how many there were. It is kept for five years after the end of the year it relates to, then deleted. We keep it because the law requires it (privacy policy, section 3g); it contains nothing about your clients.
• Technical records: visit counts on our marketing site and expired sign-in links, for 90 days.
• An administrative audit trail: one line for each action a Slotora operator performed on the account, including that operator's email address and IP. It is kept after the account is gone, because it is the only way we can show a deletion was carried out properly, and by whom.

If you cannot sign in

Email hello@slotora.io from the address on the account and we will delete it for you. We reply within 30 days. If you cannot access the account's email, we may ask you to verify your identity before deleting anything.

Export your data first

Before deleting, you can download everything (clients, bookings, services) as CSV or JSON from Migration centre → Export your data. After deletion the data cannot be recovered.
