Feature · Online booking
An online booking page that belongs to your restaurant
Guests book a table at your address, not on a marketplace that lists your neighbours beside you. They see only the times you can actually seat, and the booking costs you nothing per cover.
The booking page is part of the one monthly price. There is no Slotora commission on bookings it brings in.
Four choices, then a table is held
The page asks what a good host would ask on the phone, in the same order.
- 1
How many of you?
The party size comes first, because it decides everything after it. If you only take parties of two to eight online, the page offers two to eight.
- 2
Which day?
Days you have closed, for the whole place or one room, are simply not offered — with the reason kept in your settings, not shown to the guest.
- 3
Inside or on the terrace?
If you have drawn several rooms, the guest can say which they would prefer. If they do not mind, the engine picks the table that suits the evening best.
- 4
A time that is really free
The times shown are computed from your tables, turn times and pacing, not from a list of slots. Then the guest leaves a name and contact details and the table is theirs.
Why it matters that the page is yours
Your address, your guests
Put the link on your website, your menu PDFs, your e-mail signature and wherever people already find you, and print the QR card that opens it for the tables and the window. The person who books is your guest, recorded on your guest card — not a marketplace's.
Only tables that exist
Every online booking lands on a table in your floor plan. A party of six is never accepted for a moment when only twos are free, because the page asks the same engine the host stand does.
Changing plans without a phone call
Right after booking, the guest is shown a private link to cancel, to change how many are coming, or to move the booking to another time that is really free — the same evening or another day — without creating an account. The call at 19:55 that ties up the person on the door happens less often.
The limits you set once
The page is generous where you want it and strict where you need it.
How far ahead, how late
Open the book six weeks ahead or two; stop online bookings an hour before service or ten minutes before. The phone stays open whatever you choose.
Big parties ask first
Above a size you choose, an online booking becomes a request. It holds no table until someone on your side confirms it, so a hopeful table of fourteen cannot block Saturday.
Questions about the booking page
Can a guest move their booking to another day online?
Yes. From their link they pick another time from the free times your page would offer anyone, on the same day or a different one, and the booking is checked against your rules again. If the move falls inside your late window, or would change what they owe, the page asks them to call you instead.
Can I put a booking button inside my own website?
You link to the booking page from your website, the way you would link to a menu. An embedded widget that draws the form inside your own pages is not part of the product.
Will it show a Reserve button on Google?
No. Reserve with Google and Instagram's own Book button are not connected. You can paste the link to your booking page into your own Google Business Profile and Instagram bio, and it works like any other link. Add ?src=instagram to the one in your bio, and the reports show how many bookings came through it.
Does the guest pay anything when booking?
Only where you ask for it. With your Stripe account connected, a rule can ask for a card guarantee or a deposit on the nights, dates or party sizes you choose, and the guest gives it while booking; every other booking stays free for the guest.
