Waxing is a low-cost, high-volume treatment and the economics are almost entirely in the consumables. A room doing eight treatments a day gets through wax, strips, spatulas and aftercare at a rate that makes pack size and delivery cost matter more than the unit price on the label, which is why this category is deliberately small and sits beside the equipment and the disposables rather than inside them.
The real choice is format. Hot or hard wax is applied thicker, sets and is removed without a strip, and is what most therapists use for intimate and facial work because it grips hair rather than skin. Warm or soft wax is spread thin and removed with a strip, and is quicker over large areas such as legs. A room normally stocks both, and the heater has to suit the format: a tin designed for a pot heater will not behave in a roller cartridge unit.
Two things to check before ordering. Wax has a working temperature stated by the manufacturer and a heater has a thermostat accuracy; the combination, not the wax alone, decides whether a treatment is comfortable. And post-wax care belongs in the aftercare category rather than here, because it is the one line in the trade that is genuinely bought to be given away. Price, stock and delivery are stated on the supplier's own page.
May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.
We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster, flyer or message of ours — or which salon's recommendation — brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, our server sends Meta your email address scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, with your IP address, your browser's details and Meta's own cookie ids — never your name — purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
