Get paid, and stop losing money to no-shows
Turn on card payments whenever you're ready. Clients pay a deposit — or the full price — when they book, and their card is stored by Stripe so that a no-show or a late cancellation is not simply a loss — the fee you set comes off that card automatically, and the client agreed to exactly that when they booked. Whatever is still owed on the day gets taken at the counter, in the same place. It all runs on your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you and Slotora never takes a cut.

Ask for a percentage, a fixed amount, or the whole price at booking. You choose per business — and can leave it off entirely.
No-show & late-cancel fees
Set a fee and a cancellation window. When a client pays a deposit, their card is stored by Stripe — never by us — and they are told so before they pay. If they then don’t turn up, or cancel inside your window, the fee is taken from that card automatically, about an hour later. The delay is deliberate: a no-show marked by mistake can still be undone before any money moves. Prefer to decide case by case? Switch the automatic charge off and it waits for you to press the button.
Your Stripe, your money, 0% to us
Payments run through your own Stripe account (Stripe Connect). Payouts, refunds and receipts are handled by Stripe. Slotora charges no commission — ever.
Refunds in one click
Changed your mind or made a goodwill exception? Refund a booking's payment straight from the booking screen.
Collect the rest at the counter
On the day, open the booking and press Take payment. Show the guest a QR code and they pay the balance on their own phone by Apple Pay, Google Pay or card, with no hardware at all. Prefer a reader? A SumUp or Square reader works from the phone or tablet at your desk, and a Stripe Terminal reader works from a computer. Cash, your own card machine and bank transfers are recorded too, so the day's takings are complete.
Completely optional
Everything Slotora does is free and works without payments. Switch card payments on only if and when it helps your business.
One payment account per chair
Renting stations to self-employed stylists? Switch the salon to per-person payments and every stylist connects her own Stripe account. Her guests' deposits and counter payments land in her account, never yours — and the day-end report still shows the salon's takings broken down by person.
One balance, however it was paid
Deposit taken online, gift card part-used, coupon applied, a session pass covering the visit, cash handed over halfway — the booking shows a single figure still owed, with every payment listed underneath. Nobody does the sums at the desk.
