Know what's on the shelf before you run out mid-appointment
A salon's real stock cost is not the retail shelf — it's the tint, the developer, the wax and the ink you use doing the work. Slotora counts both. Tell a service what it consumes and how much, and finishing an appointment takes it off the shelf on its own: you never type a stock movement for ordinary work. When something drops to the level you set, your dashboard says so — before a client is already in the chair.
Sign up freePer-service consumption
A blonde colour takes one box of tint; a full set takes one tip pack; a large tattoo takes two bottles of black. Set it once per service, in whatever units you actually buy in.
Counted when the work is done
Stock comes off at completion, never at booking — so a cancellation, a reschedule or a no-show never leaves a box missing from your count.
Low-stock warning where you'll see it
Set the level you want to be told at and the warning appears on your dashboard, not buried in a stock menu you only open when it's too late.
Whole things, or measured amounts
Boxes, bottles, tubes, sheets — and millilitres and grams. Say a bottle of polish holds 50 ml and a manicure takes 20, and the shelf, the low warning and the cost all follow the measure you actually work in. Leave it at whole items and nothing changes.
Stock takes that record the difference
Count the shelf, enter what's there, and Slotora records the gap as its own line. The history says what changed and why: used, delivered, wasted, counted.
Retail sits in the same list
Products you sell over the counter live beside the ones you use, and recording a sale takes the bottle off the shelf with a reason in the history. It is stock, not a till: marking a bottle sold records no payment, so retail takings are not in the day-end figure.
What each service really leaves you
Because the shelf knows what a job consumed, Slotora can subtract it from what the job took: contribution per service, per appointment — and the sentence that says which one is worth the chair.
