Slotora vs Timely

Timely is a polished, well-liked system with transparent per-staff pricing and no marketplace commission — credit where it is due. The difference is the monthly bill: it scales with every bookable member of your team, and the entry plan holds back several of the features that protect your calendar. Every figure below is from Timely's own pricing page.

A free slot advertised by itself — and the post taken down when it fillsYes, free. The freed time goes to your Facebook Page with a link that books that exact slot, and the post is deleted once somebody takes it. Instagram gets the same post with your logo; deleting an Instagram post needs a Meta permission we have not been granted yet, so the booking page tells anyone arriving late that the time has gone.Their feature pages name AI automations and an AI message writer, and a Stock app; advertising a freed slot and withdrawing the post is not among them
Posting to your own Facebook Page and Instagram from inside the systemYes, free — live since 22 August 2026An AI text generator for client messages is named; publishing to your own Facebook Page or Instagram feed is not

The honest caveat

Of every platform on this site, Timely is the one whose pricing we would defend to a friend. There is no marketplace cut, no new-client fee, no percentage of anything — you pay a clear monthly price and that is the whole bill, which is rarer in this industry than it should be. Their Innovate plan also does things we do not: staff sales targets and performance tracking, tiered pricing by stylist seniority, timesheets, rosters and a Zapier API. If you run a large salon with a manager and a payroll, that is worth £39 a head. If you are one or three people, you are paying £264–£1,400 a year for a diary.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster or flyer brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, your name and email address go to Meta scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
