Skin analysis is the part worth studying slowly

Telling dehydration from oiliness, sensitivity from a reaction, a congested area from active breakouts — that is what decides every treatment after it. It is also something video does well: an educator can hold the lamp, zoom in and talk through what they see, and you can stop on each frame.

Keep notes and photos of the skins you practise on. Analysis improves by comparing the same skin over weeks, not by one consultation.

Devices, acids and peels need more than a video

A recorded course can explain how a device or a stronger acid works and when it is used. Doing it safely on a client is different: it usually needs supervised, hands-on training, and in many countries rules about who may perform it. A responsible educator says where their course stops.

Before you add any treatment to your menu, check what your country allows and what your insurer covers.

From knowledge to a treatment plan

The best skin care courses end with planning: which treatment first, what the client does at home between visits, what you record each time so the next appointment starts from facts rather than memory.

Questions about online skin care courses

Is an online course enough to start doing facials?

It teaches the knowledge and the routine. Working on clients also needs practice and, depending on where you work, a recognised qualification and insurance — check those locally.

Can I see the lessons before I buy?

The course page lists every module and lesson. If the educator has marked a free preview lesson, you can watch it there without buying.

Who is the seller?

The educator, named on the course page before you pay, with the price, currency and how long access lasts.

How is the order of courses decided?

Newest first. There are no paid or featured places.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster, flyer or message of ours — or which salon's recommendation — brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, our server sends Meta your email address scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, with your IP address, your browser's details and Meta's own cookie ids — never your name — purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
