Online massage courses

Online massage courses for therapists adding a technique

Routines, strokes, rhythm and your own body mechanics — recorded so you can follow a sequence step by step, then practise it with your hands.

Massage educators are still preparing their courses. The catalogue already lists courses in other professions and languages.

Video shows the sequence; your hands learn the pressure

A recording is excellent for the order of a routine, the positioning of the client, draping, and the rhythm of a stroke — things you want to watch several times before you try them. It cannot feel the tissue under your hands or tell you when you are pressing too hard.

That is why online massage courses suit therapists who already work on clients and want to add a technique or refresh a routine. If you are starting from nothing, combine a recorded course with practice under someone experienced.

Your own body is part of the technique

Wrists, thumbs and the lower back are what end massage careers early. A good course spends time on stance, couch height and using bodyweight instead of muscle — and films it from the side, so you can see the therapist's posture, not only the client's back.

When not to massage

A responsible course covers the consultation: the conditions and situations in which a massage should be adapted, postponed or not given, and when to suggest the client speaks to a doctor first. We do not give medical advice, and no course here replaces it.

What you may offer, and which insurance you need, depends on your country. Check before you advertise a new treatment.

Questions about online massage courses

Can I become a massage therapist with an online course?

A recorded course teaches sequences and theory well, but pressure and palpation are learned through supervised practice. Most therapists use online courses to add techniques once they are already working.

What does the course page tell me?

Its modules and lessons, the price and currency, the language, how long you have access, and who is selling it — before you pay.

Can I watch it again later?

For as long as your access lasts, as often as you like. Each course remembers which lessons you have finished.

Does anyone pay to appear higher in this list?

No. Newest first, the same rule for every course.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster, flyer or message of ours — or which salon's recommendation — brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, our server sends Meta your email address scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, with your IP address, your browser's details and Meta's own cookie ids — never your name — purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
