Notifications: what reaches your phone
The Notifications page, which events reach the Slotora app on your phone out of the box, which ones you can switch on, and whose phones get them.
Notifications in the left menu lists the salon's latest 60 events, shared by the whole team. Which of them also reach your phone is set under Settings → Alerts to your phone, once for the whole salon; the app has the same switches under Settings → Notifications.
On unless you switch them off
- Someone books
- Someone cancels
- Someone moves an appointment
Off until you switch them on
Money arrives, a deposit is paid, a refund is made, an overpayment is owed back, a no-show or late-cancellation fee is charged, a form is filled in, a review comes in, a gift card or a pass is bought, someone joins the waiting list, your own calendar clashes with a booking, and a Slotora entry is edited in Google.
Whose phones get them
Every phone signed in to the Slotora app for your salon, except the phone of the person who made the change. Staff logins' phones do not get them. Only owners and admins can change the switches, and your phone has to allow Slotora's notifications.
