HelpDaily use

The Slotora app on your phone

Your diary, your client book and the counter in your pocket — the same account and the same data as the web, live, with nothing to sync.

Slotora works in any phone browser, but there's also a Slotora app for iPhone and Android. It's the same account and the same diary; the app simply makes the screens you open twenty times a day quicker to reach.

What's in it

  • Dashboard — the start screen
  • Today — the day's appointments in order, the screen most people live in
  • Calendar — the full diary, where any booking opens with the client, the service and the money on it
  • Clients — your client book with history and notes (owners and admins only, exactly as on the web)
  • More — the app's own menu: services, team, reports, settings and the rest. The few parts made for a bigger screen open on the web instead

Signing in

Use the same email and password you use on slotora.io. There's no separate app account and nothing to set up first. Staff logins work too and see the same limited view they get on the web.

It's the same data, in real time

Nothing syncs, imports or exports. A booking you take on the phone is on the web the moment you save it, and a client booking online appears in the app the same way. There's one diary, and both screens are looking straight at it.

Taking payment from the app

Open a booking and you get the same breakdown as the web: what the visit costs, what's already been paid, what's left. Record cash, your own card machine or a bank transfer, add a tip, or — if you take online payments — show the client a QR code so they can pay on their own phone.

If the signal drops — and salons lose signal constantly — a payment you record is saved on the phone and sent as soon as you're back online. It's never counted twice.

What we need from you

Nothing. Install the app, sign in with your existing Slotora email and password, and allow notifications when your phone asks, so new bookings can reach you. Day to day, slotora.io also works in your phone's browser — but first-time setup runs in the app or on a computer: on a phone's browser, the setup screen sends you to the app on purpose.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster or flyer brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, your name and email address go to Meta scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
