The no-show toolkit: reminders, policies, waitlist

Every Slotora tool that protects your calendar from no-shows and late cancellations — reminders, deposits, cancellation windows, waitlist and block list.

Automatic reminders

Every confirmed booking gets a reminder email before the visit (24 hours by default — change it in Settings). No action needed from you.

Self-service changes with YOUR rules

Confirmation emails contain a manage link where clients cancel or move the booking themselves. Moving closes at your cancellation deadline; cancelling stays open until the appointment starts, and if you charge a late-cancellation fee, the page shows it before they confirm.

The waitlist safety net

When a day is full, guests can join a waitlist. Whenever a slot frees up — someone cancels, a booking is moved to another time, a no-show is marked before the appointment, or an abandoned deposit checkout releases its hold — the people waiting for that service on that day get an email naming the time that came free, as long as it can still be booked online. Nothing is held for anybody: it is first come, first served.

No-show tracking & block list

Marking a booking 'no-show' counts on the client's profile, so patterns are visible. Serial offenders can be blocked from online booking with one click — they can still call you.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster or flyer brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, your name and email address go to Meta scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
