The phone receptionist: answering while both hands are busy
Nita answers your salon phone, books, reschedules and cancels in your diary, and texts a confirmation — paid for in prepaid minutes, separately from the AI packages.
A ringing phone during a colour is a lost booking either way: you either abandon a client's head or you abandon the caller. The phone receptionist takes the call, in your salon's name, and puts the result straight into your diary.
What she can do on a call
- Answer with your salon's greeting and your services, durations and prices.
- Offer real free times and book the appointment — the same availability the online form uses, so nothing is double-booked.
- Move or cancel an existing appointment, once she has identified the caller.
- Email the confirmation afterwards, when the matched client record has an address.
- Take a message and hand the call over when the question is not one she should answer.
When she picks up
You choose: always, only outside opening hours, or only when the call is not answered within a set number of rings. A common setup is 18:00–07:00 plus busy hours on Saturday. Your number does not change and nothing is diverted permanently — she simply answers the calls you have said she may.
What it costs
£49.99 per 100 minutes, prepaid, because a phone call has a per-minute cost we pay whether or not it turns into a booking. Minutes only tick while she is actually on a call. It is separate from the Slotora AI / AI Chat / AI Autopilot packages: you can have the phone without them, or them without the phone.
Getting it switched on
Request it from Nita (AI) → Phone receptionist. Setting up the line is the one part that is not instant — a number has to be attached to your salon at the telephony end — so allow a working day, and you will be told when it is live. Everything after that, including the hours she answers and turning her off, is yours to change at any time.
