A price change from a date: raise a price from 1 November without touching what is booked

Set a service's new price and the day it starts. New bookings for that day and later get the new price; appointments already in your diary keep theirs.

Setting it

Open a service under Services. Under the price, 'Price change from a date' asks for the new price and the day it starts — tomorrow at the earliest. Save, and the service shows the change, for example '£45 from 1 November'. Several at once: 'Change several prices' on the Services page lists every priced service with a box for its new price and one day for all of them; a box you leave empty keeps that price.

What changes, and when

  • A visit on or after the day costs the new price, even if it is booked today — on your booking page, at the desk, in the app and on the AI phone
  • A visit before the day costs today's price
  • A repeating series that runs past the day is priced visit by visit, each by its own date
  • Appointments already booked keep their price — nothing already in your diary is repriced, and clients get no message
  • At midnight on the day, in your salon's time zone, the service's price itself becomes the new one

Changing your mind

Until the day comes, 'Cancel price change' on the service removes it and today's price stays. A service has one waiting change at a time; to change the price or the day, cancel it and set a new one. A team member's own price and a price at another premises are separate prices and do not change. A free or 'Ask for a price' service has no price to change. In the app it is in the same place: More → Services, open a service, and 'Change several prices' at the top of the list.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster, flyer or message of ours — or which salon's recommendation — brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, our server sends Meta your email address scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, with your IP address, your browser's details and Meta's own cookie ids — never your name — purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
