Nita on your booking page: answering guests while you work

The chat your clients see: what she answers on her own, how she knows your real availability, how she hands over to you, and how to make sure she sounds like your salon.

Most bookings are lost to a question nobody answered. Someone opens your page at nine in the evening, wonders whether you do balayage on fine hair, whether there is parking, whether Saturday morning is possible at all — and leaves. Nita sits in the corner of that page and answers.

She belongs to your salon, visibly

The launcher says 'Ask Nita' and the panel header names your business, so a guest can see this is the salon's assistant rather than a support widget belonging to the software. Her greeting uses your salon's name and your booking page's language.

What she answers without being told

  • Your services, durations and prices — read from your service list (the first twelve), so a price change is reflected the moment you save it.
  • Your opening hours and your address.
  • Your deposit and cancellation rules, as you set them in your settings.
  • Real availability: when a guest asks for Saturday, Nita asks the same availability engine the booking form uses and names actual free times — she cannot invent a slot that is not there.

What she does when she does not know

She says so rather than guessing, and points the guest to your own contact details on the page. Nobody reads the chat afterwards, so she never promises that you will reply. A guess about whether a treatment suits a pregnant client is worse than a phone call, and it is your name on the answer.

Making her answers right

  • Keep your services, prices, opening hours, address, and your deposit and cancellation settings up to date — that is what she reads.
  • She does not read your service descriptions, and the FAQ answers you write are for the phone receptionist, not for this chat.
  • Anything she should never say — a treatment you have stopped offering, a discount you do not honour — should be removed from your service list rather than left there hoping she skips it.

Cost and control

Lookups are included for everybody, always: hours, prices and your policy are answered from your own data with no model involved and nothing charged. Her conversational replies are free as well, and they wait for one tick in your settings — they are off until you switch them on. If you pause Nita, the chat disappears from your booking page until you press 'Resume AI'.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster or flyer brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, your name and email address go to Meta scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
