The client profile: caution notes, tags, photos, blocking and removing

What you can keep on a client — allergies shown in red, notes, tags, birthday, before-and-after photos, marketing consent — and how blocking and removing a client work.

Clients in the left menu is your client book. Open anyone to see their visits, what they have spent and how many times they did not turn up. The client book belongs to owners and admins: a staff login does not see it.

What you can keep on a client

  • 'Allergies, sensitivities, anything to know first' — shown in red at the top of the profile and on the appointment
  • 'Notes' — preferences, colour formulas, anything else
  • 'Tags (comma-separated)' — VIP, sensitive skin, prefers mornings; a campaign can go to everyone with a tag
  • 'Birthday' — for the birthday greeting under Automations
  • 'Before & after photos' — visible only to you and your team, unless you publish one to your booking page
  • 'Billing details (for invoices)' — company name, tax number and address. Számlázz.hu and Billingo need the address
  • 'Agreed to receive offers and news' — tick it only if they said yes. Either way they still get booking confirmations and reminders
  • 'No deposit from this client' — they are not asked for a deposit online

Blocking a client

'Block client' stops them booking online; it is matched by their email address. They can still phone you, and you can still book them in yourself from New booking. 'Unblock client' undoes it.

Removing a client

'Remove this client' deletes someone who never had an appointment. A client with appointments is anonymised instead, so your diary and your takings stay correct.

In the app

The app's client screen has the notes, tags, birthday, blocking and removing too.

May we measure which pages actually help? “Accept all” also lets us measure our own adverts.

What exactly does this mean?

We'd like to use Google Analytics to see which pages help and which don't, and to remember which poster or flyer brought you here. Accept all also allows a Meta advertising pixel, so we can tell which of our own adverts brought a salon that signed up — and if you create an account, your name and email address go to Meta scrambled (hashed), never as readable text, purely so it can recognise that the sign-up came from an advert. None of this runs on a salon's own booking page. Everything the service itself needs works either way. Cookie Policy
